Stories-in-Motion Workshop (In-Person) – Mobile Media Workshop
September 30, 2021 – October 3, 2021, Santa Fe, New Mexico
StoryCenter returns to in-person workshops with a version of the mobile media workshops led by Lambert from 2011-2015. The workshops will lead participants through photo and video production on iPhone/Android platforms, and video editing, against the backdrop of Northern New Mexico’s scenic environment. After an introduction, and initial orientation to the mobile device apps (Camera Plus 2 and Filmic Pro), participants will travel to nearby Santa Fe locations to collect images and videos, write narration scripts related to stories of interest, and then create 3-5 minute digital videos on their laptops using WeVideo software. Those interested can have their stories will be shared via a StoryMap created by StoryCenter staff after the workshop.
